UNCTAD online course on Trade and Gender
The UN Conference on Trade and Development, with the support of the Government of Finland, is organizing an online course on trade and gender. The course will take place from the 19th of January to the 8th of March 2015. Starting from the premises that trade and trade liberalization policies tend to impact men and women differently, the course wants to provide participants with the knowledge needed to analyse this two-way relationship between gender and trade. The objective is, among others, to use this knowledge to produce policy-oriented research and academic papers investigating the interplay between trade and gender.

The online course contains three modules, each of them based on one module of Volume 1 of the Vi teaching material on gender and trade, titled “Unfolding the links”. The course will be tutored by one of the authors of the material.
